My wife and I are first-time homeowners. We purchased a Colonial style home in Warminster Township about 2 years ago. The house was 50 years old and required a lot of work. The 2nd floor of the house was unfinished (no drywall, HVAC, or electric). When my wife became pregnant with our 1st child we knew we needed more space but just didn't know how. So Mom is now moved into our K&M Conner Brothers-built addition and I have had a chance to reflect on the construction project. As you know, I have done a lot of construction by myself, and I was a little worried about hiring "someone else" to do work on my house. As it turns out I could never have been so wrong. From the very first conversation I had with Keith concerning estimates, right on to the work itself, I must admit I was never so satisfied with hiring out work for my house. You and your work crew were so professional. Actually, the word professional should be accompanied by friendly as well. For the 2+ months K&M Conner Brothers was "camped" at my house, I felt like "family" was visiting. Yes, there were times when the noise was loud etc- but you and your crew were ever so polite. And now that K&M Conner Brothers is "off the job" and gone my wife and look around and marvel how fast and how professionally you completed our project. No matter what "complaint" I may have had you listened with 100% interest. A true sign of a good contractor- you always asked me what you needed to do to "fix it"- whatever the issue was. With any job of our size there will always be some- let’s say "confusion"- about the details of the job. I will say this- more often than not- K&M Conner Brothers accommodated us on any "gray areas" without any question. That is a Good Contractor! Keith and his staff at K&M Conner Brothers are my "go-to" General Contractors. Besides using them on projects at my own home in Horsham, they have also done work for many of my clients. Because I feel the referrals that I give my clients are a reflection of myself, I do so with great caution - any time I refer Keith to my clients, I know they're in good hands. Choosing a General Contractor to handle a project at your home is a big decision. In many cases, you're bringing them on to oversee a project that can take months. Good follow through, accountability, attention to detail, and flexibility in unexpected circumstances are attributes you might not uncover until the work has started. Every time K&M Conner Brothers has done work for me or my clients, the result has been quality work and excellent correspondence. They keep you updated every step of the way. 

I've had my kitchen/foyer/powder room remodeled just this past February 2008. Keith did the work for us, and his approach to the project was very proactive. He discussed with us some of our options from a design standpoint the first time we met with him, and he also let us know about some things that could become an issue as the project moved along. Knowing all this up front really simplified the process for myself and my wife Beth - we had just had our first child, and it really eased our anxiety about taking on such a large project. 

8 weeks later, we were back together in the kitchen and ready to take on our next project. We replaced our roof, gutters, downspouts, and capping. The project turned out beautifully, and as promised, Keith and his crew finished the project in the time frame they estimated. 

Home improvements are generally a big financial investment, and the outcome of the project is not always the same. If you're looking for a reliable local contractor who is reasonably priced and will give you the quality of work you demand, I don't think you have to look any further than K&M Conner Brothers. 

After five estimates, without hesitation we chose K&M Conner Brothers to replace our windows, siding and shutters, and front door with sidelights. Not only was their estimate the most reasonable, but we truly appreciated dealing directly with the contractor who would do the work, rather than a sales representative who would later subcontract the job to an installer. Keith readily responded to our phone calls and patiently answered all of our questions. He and Chuck offered helpful suggestions and never pressured us to make hasty, final decisions. Despite rainy weather and shortened daylight hours, the job was completed in a timely manner with plenty of attention to detail. We highly recommend their company and will definitely contact them first when considering any future home improvement projects.
